Summary of aims & objectives:

To support individuals and families coping with, and recovering from serious mental illness by providing information, advice and practical support.


Hafal delivers a range of services to people with serious mental health illness and their families including:

  • Employment and Vocational Training - at both our Horticulture project in St Fagan’s and our Cafe project based in The Ely & Caerau Hub
  • Integrated Family Support Service – support for families and Carers based at all five Community Mental Health Teams across Cardiff and the Amy Evans Centre, Barry. Further support available through regular Carer Support groups in Cardiff & the Vale.
  • Carers Participation Project – an involvement project offering Carers information and a voice in planning services.


Referrals for the Employment based projects and Integrated Family Support Service are made via local Community Mental Health Teams or GP’s. For any further information contact Hafal on 02920 565959.
