Welsh Women’s Aid

Welsh Women’s Aid (WWA) is the lead national organisation campaigning, influencing policy and practice and innovating to end domestic abuse and violence against women. WWA is the umbrella organisation representing local domestic abuse service providers across Wales. Member groups provide direct services for women and their children who have experienced or are experiencing domestic abuse.

WWA manages the Live Fear Free Helpline, a free 24 hour bilingual gender neutral and confidential helpline providing information to anyone experiencing domestic abuse or sexual violence, and to individuals and organisations seeking information or advice.
