WAHWN December Network Meeting

Join us for a creative, hands-on celebratory network meeting to connect and reflect on the year that’s gone by.

Our guest artists will be the successful Wales Creativity Champions on 64 Million Artists’ project – The January Challenge. You can take part in 2 x 25 minute workshops, which you will choose when you arrive. Please have basic materials to hand – pen, pencil, paper.

Ffion Pritchard is a multidisciplinary artist with a wide range of experience within the art, design, entertainment and media sector. Ffion is interested in how art can benefit society, be it through community-engaged art, art in healthcare or through the cathartic power of storytelling, humour and entertainment.

Sian is a Wellbeing Officer at Golygfa Gwydyr, Llanrwst, Conwy Valley. Golygfa Gwydyr have a site in the Gwydir Forest where we hold wellbeing sessions from foraging, basket weaving to bio blitz. They have recently started art sessions and are keen to develop the creative arts in their work, knowing the wellbeing benefits. They are currently working with veterans, Cartrefi Conwy and the local community.

Claire and Sally run Create Caerphilly Skills and Wellbeing CIC. They facilitate arts and crafts classes for all ages and use a wide range of mediums within these classes. Working predominately in Caerphilly and the surrounding areas, with community groups, charities and support organizations, Claire and Sally promote wellbeing through being creative.
