Summary of aims & objectives:

Bawso delivers specialist services to people from Black and Ethnic Minority (BME) backgrounds. Bawso's aims are:

  1. To provide generic and specialist services including the provision of temporary accommodation in Wales for those suffering from domestic abuse and all forms of violence;
  2. To provide support and services with the intention of empowering service users to define and establish fulfilling and sustainable livelihoods;
  3. To provide support, advocacy and training to enable service users to develop their aptitudes and realise their potential; and
  4. To raise awareness among the general public of the unacceptable nature of violence in all its forms, and of the needs of those who experience it.
