Cardiff Memory Team consists of: medical doctors, nurse specialists, clinical psychology and speech and language therapy staff.

Cardiff Memory Team is a multi-professional team that specialises in the identification, assessment and management of older people with memory problems. They will arrange for a person with memory problems or other cognitive problems to have a full medical and psychological assessment in order to arrive at a diagnosis. Once this has been achieved appropriate care, treatment and support for both the person and family/carers are planned. Referrals often come from GP’s, but the team is always ready to discuss situations with other professionals.
