Summary of aims & objectives:

See services below.

Services:

In CTRL (Children aged between 9 and 13 years):

The adapted In Ctl offer is designed to provide children with tailored support based on their needs with the aim of reducing risk of online harm including grooming, exploitation and sexual abuse. This is a 1:1 Programme and can be accessed virtually.

The group work offer (as above but in a group setting) aims at strengthening peer relationships and is underpinned by reflective practice. Practitioners work collaboratively with children to increase opportunities for them to identify strategies that will support them.

Consultations for professionals

Practitioners are available to provide consultations for professionals in partner agencies, such as schools, to help enhance their competence and confidence to support families with online safety generally and sign post them to national NSPCC resources.

Advice, guidance and support to parents and carers

Where appropriate practitioners are available to offer specific advice and guidance on important issues, such as managing children’s screen time and routines when spending more time at home as a result of Covid-19.
