Victim Support is a national charity for victims of crime. Staff and trained volunteers based in local branches provide support, information and practical help to people who have suffered crimes ranging from burglary to the murder of a relative.
Self-referral and referrals by police, G.P.s, social services, hospitals, C.A.B. and any other agency. Call the Victim Care Unit (see below) to refer.
Lines are open 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday. This is a local service run by Victim Support.
If you need telephone support outside of your local team’s opening hours, you can call our Supportline, for free, on 08 08 16 89 111. Supportline is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Contact us via live chat (24/7). This service is free and confidential.
Create a My Support Space account. This is a free, safe and secure online space where you can work through interactive guides to help you move forward after crime.
Request support through our website. Your local victim care team will contact you within three working days. If you prefer, you can still email us, but bear in mind that sending personal information about yourself or your situation over a standard email is not secure.
