findings about the causes of burnout within a broader social context. Plus we hear
lived experience and stories of burnout from the tech, hospitality and healthcare

Join us for an informative webinar on burnout as we look at the latest research
around the causes of burnout and how employers and employees can help
break the burnout cycle.

 

We will be joined by Dr Rachel Sumner, a senior research fellow and psychologist
at Cardiff Metropolitan University. She will reveal the results of a new research
project that examined burnout amongst key workers during the pandemic,
uncovering some surprising findings about the causes of burnout within a broader
social context.

 

We will hear from Kris Hall, CEO of the hospitality charity, The Burnt Chef
Project who will share hospitality workers’ stories where anti-social hours, tough
working conditions and pressure to perform have led to periods of burnout.
Talking from a lived experience perspective, we will hear from Jay Williams,
entrepreneur and co-founder of a tech company who will share his story of burnout
and its prevalence amongst the startup tech community.

 

We will share some meaningful takeaways for those experiencing burnout and
ways employers can break the burnout cycle.
